Use of own uploaded icons in categories

Hi there,
I hope you can help me. How can I use my own uploaded icons at the categorie section ?

I have tried it already with custom.css, but then the icon field stays empty (grey).

Of course, you can find in at www.4sqsu.com/en/main-forum-en . I have created a test category.

I have found icons I want to use for it.
