The default display on our website with NTS Kay for the buttons looks like this:
I would like the top buttons to also appear on a single row, like the bottom row of buttons. That costs less screen space and looks nicer I think.
I tried several things, but cannot get it to work.
How can I achieve that ?
And it would also be nice if the [Report This] button was on the same row as the [Quick Reply] button, also to save some screen space.
Robert
PS the feature to insert the image does not seem to work in the editor.

Hi Robert,
I checked the NTS Kay template on my localhost and didn't encounter any errors like the ones you described. It's possible that there is a style conflict with your Joomla template. Could you please share your website link and provide me with an account so that I can test it?
Best regards,

Hi,
Thanks for the update. This looks much better.
I have a question / request for a next update:
can you make the display of gender, date of birth and similar fields optional?
I have now updated the layouts for user\profile to exclude these fields.
And another question:
I have set the avatar size for the profile image for the topics. I can see in the rendered html that the sizes are included.
But on the page www.xsharp.nl/forum/private-product/3344...-replacement-for-ads and similar pages you can see that the image does not respect the sizes, because there is a width: auto somewhere in the style sheet that tells it to ignore the avatar sizes? Do you have any idea where this width: auto is coming from.
It looks like it is coming from kunena.css, which is the file in the kunena cache folder that combines the template styles.

Hi @robert,
Thank you so much for the suggestions. We will update the profile layout and improve style in next version. Follow some below steps if you want to add custom style for the kunena template.
- Create a style file with named: nts_kay_custom.css
- Add your custom style to that file.
- Copy the nts_kay_custom.css file to the css folder of the default joomla template.
- Reload your forum to view the change.

Hung Pham,
Given that I create this custom style: how do I remove the width: auto then?

Yes. You can set max-height, max-width or width, height properties for user's image.
