Hi hawkeye,

You can use the FontAwesome Icon to custom category icon. Please follow some below steps to change category icon.

1. Open the category you want to change.
2. Enter the icon name to the Category Icon field. Example fa fa-cloud
3. Save and back to front to view changes.

Please let's us know if it does not work.

Fontawsomeworka perfectly, but it is not possible to for me to add own icons like a football (football.png).
The solution described for the Joomla Templates does not work in my case.

Hi,

Please fill the "fa fa-soccer-ball-o" class to the Category Icon. Let's us know if you want to add other font icon to forum template. We will guide you do it.

I just bought this kunena theme and the icons are shown too deep in recent version (5.0.2).

Can you fix this?

Hi gee,

We have applied quick fix this issue in the current download package. Please download the template package and install to your site again.

Remember delete cache folder before refresh your site.

Icons are centered now, but I got the next bug. A category with new answers does not get the icon color changed:
