NTS Kay not working properly on custom template
NTS Kay not working properly on custom template
9 years 7 months ago - 9 years 7 months ago
Hello,
Yesterday we bought the NTS Kay template and we used it in our joomla 3.6 with kunena 5.0.1 component.
The joomla template we use is custom made and it does not use any bootstrap css or js.
So NTS Kay template seems broken. then we enabled the "load bootstrap css" option in the kunena template comfiguration and the result was better but not good.
for example all borders were rouded, and this was because there were also some other bootstrap files loaded (because of the "load bootstrap css" option), like:
maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/...less/pagination.less
maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/...s/border-radius.less and so on.
Finally we tried to set "load bootstrap css" to no and change the joomla template to Protostar so everything worked like a charm.
Does your template use css from the default protostar tamplate which is not implemented in our joomla template?
How can we make the NTS Kay template work correctly in our custom template?
thanks in advance.
Vasilis

Hi Huyen,
Thank you for your quick reply.
Finally we made it work, after implementing some css code from the default template.css of Protostar template.
"load bootstrap css" option is disabled.
I think that you should implement the needed code to your template so that there are no conflicts with other custom or ready made joomla templates out there.
you should be able to determine the needed code if you load the forum pages without any joomla template css but just the css from NTS Kay.
NTS Kay is a very nice template, so keep up the good work.
regards,
Vasilis
